          Aus\u00adtri\u00adan alto, sopra\u00adno, tenor saxo\u00adpho\u00adnist and com\u00adpo\u00adser Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann was born in Paris and grew up in Vien\u00adna, whe\u00adre she initia\u00adted clas\u00adsi\u00adcal stu\u00addies of flu\u00adte at the age of five until twen\u00adty-one, when she tran\u00adsi\u00adtio\u00adned to alto and sopra\u00adno saxo\u00adpho\u00adne and soon began per\u00adforming and tou\u00adring with various rhythm &<\/span> blues, funk, world music, and jazz groups and artists such as Hans Tschi\u00adrit\u00adsch, Shani Ben Canar, Chris\u00adtoph Kurz\u00admann, Geri Schul\u00adler, Pete Hoven, Robert Rehak, The Ori\u00adgi\u00adnal Brothers. <\/span><\/p>\n

          In 2002 she moved to Bar\u00adce\u00adlo\u00adna, whe\u00adre she began lea\u00adding her own bands for recor\u00addings and con\u00adcerts. Sin\u00adce 2004 she has been based in Ibi\u00adza, which marks a peri\u00adod of par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlar\u00adly fruitful recor\u00adding and per\u00adforming acti\u00advi\u00adty. Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann has play\u00aded and recor\u00added with Joa\u00adchim K\u00fchn, Wolf\u00adgang Rei\u00adsin\u00adger, Rolf K\u00fchn, Joe San\u00adders, Ali\u00adce Zawadzki, Ali\u00adna Bzhez\u00adhinska, Chris\u00adti\u00adan Lil\u00adlin\u00adger, Robert Land\u00adfer\u00admann, Este\u00adve Pi, Eric Per\u00adson, and Omar Kabir, as well Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann Bar\u00adce\u00adlo\u00adna Quar\u00adtet, per\u00adforming and recor\u00adding her ori\u00adgi\u00adnal compositions. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Gross\u00admann play\u00aded in Spain, France, Bel\u00adgi\u00adum, Aus\u00adtria, Schwitz\u00ader\u00adland, Ger\u00adma\u00adny, Hol\u00adland, Ire\u00adland, Greece, Eng\u00adland, Moroc\u00adco, South Afri\u00adca, Pol\u00adand, Slove\u00adnia, Slo\u00adva\u00adkia, Hun\u00adga\u00adry, Ita\u00adly, Fin\u00adland, Esto\u00adnia, Den\u00admark per\u00adforming over 150 con\u00adcerts a year. <\/span><\/p>\n

          From 2011 to 2014, Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann per\u00adfor\u00admed and recor\u00added with a quar\u00adtet fea\u00adturing Rado\u00admir Milo\u00adj\u00adko\u00advic (Bel\u00adgra\u00adde) on gui\u00adtar, Robert Land\u00adfer\u00admann (Colo\u00adgne) on upright bass, and Chris\u00adti\u00adan Lil\u00adlin\u00adger (Ber\u00adlin) on drums. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Sin\u00adce 2014 she has been working with Rado\u00admir Milo\u00adj\u00adko\u00advic (Spain) on gui\u00adtar, Gina Schwarz (Aus\u00adtria) on dou\u00adble bass and Uros Sta\u00admen\u00adko\u00advic (Cana\u00adda) on drums. Her album \u201cGol\u00adden Rule\u201d, released on RR<\/span> GEMS<\/span> Records on vinyl, was award\u00aded Best Album of the Year (2018) by UK<\/span> Vibe Magazine.<\/span><\/p>\n

          In 2018  Llo\u00adren\u00e7 Bar\u00adce\u00adlo  (Mal\u00adlor\u00adca) on ham\u00admond joi\u00adn\u00aded her group. He has been tou\u00adring with the Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann Quar\u00adtet till 2022, recor\u00adding Ham\u00admond B3<\/span> on the albums Rever\u00adence, Quiet Earth, Uni\u00adon and Uni\u00adver\u00adsal Code.<\/span><\/p>\n

          In 2019, \u201cRever\u00adence\u201d ente\u00adred Gil\u00adles Peterson\u2019s World\u00adwi\u00adde Awards, and Peter\u00adson has been play\u00ading Muriel\u2019s music ever sin\u00adce. Sin\u00adce 2022 Abel Boquera (Spain) plays and records Ham\u00admond B3<\/span> organ with the Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann Quartet. <\/span><\/p>\n

          In 2023, Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann released the album \u201cDevo\u00adti\u00adon\u201d on Jack White\u2019s label Third Man Records. She had pre\u00advious\u00adly par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adted in a Third Man Records Vault sub\u00adscrip\u00adti\u00adon packa\u00adge hono\u00adring the gre\u00adat elec\u00adtric Miles Davis album Fearless. Her con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon, \u201cMuri\u00adel Gross\u00admann Plays Miles\u201d, was issued on a 7\u2011inch sin\u00adgle and rea\u00adched more than 12 000 subscribers. <\/span><\/p>\n

          In 2024, the Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann Quar\u00adtet per\u00adfor\u00admed at Gil\u00adles Peter\u00adson Pres\u00adents Impres\u00adsi\u00adons at the Fon\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon Maeght in Vence, France, and at Jazz \u00e1 la Vil\u00adlet\u00adte in the Gran\u00adde Salle Pierre Bou\u00adlez at the Phil\u00adhar\u00admo\u00adnie de Paris, among other venues. In the same year, Muri\u00adel was also nomi\u00adna\u00adted by Die Pres\u00adse for Aus\u00adtri\u00adan of the Year in the cate\u00adgo\u00adry of inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal suc\u00adcess.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
