She grew up in Vien\u00adna whe\u00adre she stu\u00addi\u00aded the flu\u00adte and later swit\u00adched to the saxo\u00adpho\u00adne (alto and sopra\u00adno) to fur\u00adther her stu\u00addies in music. Gross\u00admann play\u00aded and tou\u00adred with various Rhythm <span class=\"amp\">&amp;<\/span> Blues, World Music and Jazz groups. In 2002 she moved to Bar\u00adce\u00adlo\u00adna whe\u00adre she star\u00adted to lead her own bands for recor\u00addings and con\u00adcerts. She play\u00aded and recor\u00added with many well-respec\u00adted musi\u00adci\u00adans inclu\u00adding Chris\u00adti\u00adan Lil\u00adlin\u00adger, Robert Land\u00adfer\u00admann, Johan\u00adnes Fink, Wolf\u00adgang Rei\u00adsin\u00adger, Joa\u00adchim K\u00fchn, and Chris\u00adtoph Kurz\u00admann. Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann was able to trans\u00adla\u00adte the influence of John Col\u00adtra\u00adne and Ornet\u00adte Cole\u00adman into her own expe\u00adri\u00adence, crea\u00adting a high\u00adly per\u00adso\u00adnal lan\u00adguage. Bes\u00adi\u00addes the pur\u00adsu\u00adit of her own music, Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann can also be heard play\u00ading Jazz and Rhythm and Blues with small and lar\u00adge orchestras, up to 200 con\u00adcerts throug\u00adhout the&nbsp;year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: calibri; font-size: 12pt; color: #99ccff;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Gui\u00adta\u00adrist Rado\u00admir Milo\u00adj\u00adko\u00advic met Muri\u00adel in 2002 whilst play\u00ading on and off in dif\u00adfe\u00adrent ensem\u00adbles. It was not until 2006 that they joi\u00adn\u00aded forces to record an exten\u00adsi\u00adve body of work cul\u00admi\u00adna\u00adting with the records <span class=\"caps\">AWAKENING<\/span>&nbsp;(Dream\u00adland\u00adre\u00adcords, 2013) and <span class=\"caps\">EARTH<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">TONES<\/span>&nbsp;(Dream\u00adland\u00adre\u00adcords, 2015). Working with Gross\u00admann, Rado\u00admir Milo\u00adj\u00adko\u00advic recor\u00added fine rhythm and solo gui\u00adtar work, roo\u00adted in the style of Blues and Jazz, pro\u00advi\u00adding a mode\u00adra\u00adte, effec\u00adti\u00adve and direct way of playing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: calibri; font-size: 12pt; color: #99ccff;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Drum\u00admer Uros Sta\u00admen\u00adko\u00advic joi\u00adn\u00aded Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann and Rado\u00admir Milo\u00adj\u00adko\u00advic in 2014. Uros and Rado\u00admir were child\u00adhood fri\u00adends. Rado\u00admir recom\u00admen\u00added Uros becau\u00adse he knew that he would com\u00adple\u00adment the group with his more \u201cswin\u00adging\u201d type of jazz drum\u00adming and groo\u00adve ori\u00aden\u00adted type of playing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: calibri; font-size: 12pt; color: #99ccff;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Gina Schwarz, the con\u00adtra\u00adbas\u00adsist, a long time fri\u00adend and col\u00adle\u00adague of Muri\u00adel from their Vien\u00adna days, joi\u00adn\u00aded the group in 2015 for the work on <span class=\"caps\">NATURAL<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">TIME<\/span>&nbsp;record (Dream\u00adland\u00adre\u00adcords 2016) and the tour that fol\u00adlo\u00adwed. Gina is a high\u00adly respec\u00adted musi\u00adci\u00adan who pro\u00advi\u00addes an extra\u00ador\u00addi\u00adna\u00adry groo\u00adve and com\u00adple\u00adtes the quartet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: calibri; font-size: 12pt; color: #99ccff;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The album <span class=\"caps\">NATURAL<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">TIME<\/span>&nbsp;mark\u00aded the begin\u00adning of the new quar\u00adtet, which has gone on to beco\u00adme a working group, play\u00ading tours and con\u00adcerts. The pre\u00adsent record, <span class=\"caps\">MOMENTUM<\/span>, seems like a logi\u00adcal step for\u00adward for the\u00adse four immense\u00adly talen\u00adted musicians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: calibri; font-size: 12pt; color: #99ccff;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Momentum\u2019s ope\u00adning com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adon, <strong>Ele\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon<\/strong>, reve\u00adals a high-ener\u00adgy approach to music. It is an inspi\u00adred per\u00adfor\u00admance, packed with exci\u00adting rhyth\u00adms and epic hymn-like melo\u00addies.
