Groo\u00adve is the \u201cfee\u00adling\u201d, rhyth\u00admi\u00adcal\u00adly expan\u00adsi\u00adve, or the sen\u00adse of \u201cswing\u201d crea\u00adted by the inter\u00adac\u00adtion of music play\u00aded by the rhythm sec\u00adtion of a band, or by the form of which soloist, or the main group voice is play\u00ading . Groo\u00adve is an important fac\u00adtor in the dif\u00adfe\u00adrent sub\u00adge\u00adne\u00adra of jazz<\/span>, and from the\u00adre to other gen\u00adres such as sal\u00adsa, funk, rock and soul.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 Ori\u00adg\u00adins of a music with the\u00adse cha\u00adrac\u00adte\u00adristics can be found in the gos\u00adpel music and the blues, whe\u00adre the rhyth\u00admic fer\u00advor is at the hig\u00adhest. Sin\u00adce then it is a basic and inse\u00adpa\u00adra\u00adble com\u00adpo\u00adnent of jazz<\/span>. In the thir\u00adties, this way of under\u00adstan\u00adding music found its main expo\u00adnent in the figu\u00adre of Count Basie Big Band and in its form of play\u00ading in a tight, satis\u00adfy\u00ading and very rhyth\u00admic style, which con\u00adta\u00adgious\u00adly rea\u00adches the spec\u00adta\u00adtors. With the arri\u00adval of Char\u00adlie Par\u00adker in the 40\u2019s, jazz<\/span> acqui\u00adred its deep melo\u00addic and har\u00admo\u00adnic sophisti\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon. From the appearance of the fun\u00adky in the 50\u2019s, the Groo\u00adve con\u00adcept returns to its ori\u00adg\u00adins of blues and gos\u00adpel and, from the mid-60\u2019s, new styl\u00ades asso\u00adcia\u00adted with tho\u00adse, funk and soul<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Major musi\u00adci\u00adans of the 50s and 60s asso\u00adcia\u00adted with soul<\/span> jazz<\/span> were the orga\u00adnists Jim\u00admy Smith, Jack McDuff, Jim\u00admy McGriff, John Pat\u00adton, Richard Groo\u00adve Hol\u00admes. The pia\u00adnists: Les McCann, Hor\u00adace Sil\u00adver, Gene Har\u00adris, Juni\u00ador Mance, saxo\u00adpho\u00adnists: Eddie \u201cLock\u00adjaw\u201d Davis, Stan\u00adley Tur\u00adren\u00adti\u00adne, Lou Donald\u00adson, Gene Ammons and gui\u00adta\u00adrists: Grant Green, Ken\u00adny Bur\u00adrell and Boo\u00adga\u00adloo Joe Jones among others.
