              Com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adon and its per\u00adfor\u00admance can have an orga\u00adnic rela\u00adti\u00adonship, a balan\u00adce bet\u00adween writ\u00adten and impro\u00advi\u00adsed. Muri\u00adel Grossmann\u2019s wide com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtio\u00adnal and per\u00adforming talents reflect in four voice pie\u00adces like Diver\u00adsi\u00adty and Quint\u00adessence, suite-like pie\u00adces like Flue\u00adgel and Echo or brisk and ener\u00adge\u00adtic com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons like Andrew. The quar\u00adtet, com\u00adpo\u00adsed of Rado\u00admir Milo\u00adj\u00adko\u00advic on gui\u00adtar, David Mar\u00adro\u00adquin on upright bass and Mar\u00adko Jela\u00adca on drums, have beco\u00adme a sound lab \u2014 a group, whe\u00adre com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtio\u00adnal ide\u00adas can be work\u00aded out, deve\u00adlo\u00adped and even\u00adtual\u00adly recorded.<\/span><\/p>\n

                Aus\u00adtri\u00adan alto and sopra\u00adno saxo\u00adpho\u00adnist and com\u00adpo\u00adser Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann sta\u00adtes that her music star\u00adted to move bey\u00adond harm\u00ado\u00adny \u2014 melo\u00addies them\u00adsel\u00adves beca\u00adme more inde\u00adpen\u00addent and streng\u00adthens the idea of impro\u00advi\u00adsing phra\u00adses and not cli\u00adch\u00e9s. Gross\u00admann wea\u00adves lines with phra\u00adses from the the\u00adme; she spins deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adments from new moti\u00adves with hard dri\u00adving rhyth\u00admic figu\u00adres, which makes inter\u00adpre\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon an exi\u00adting and kicking experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

                Muri\u00adel Grossmann\u2019s music is com\u00adplex, cal\u00adling for a simi\u00adlar depth of emo\u00adtio\u00adnal respon\u00adse from the lis\u00adte\u00adner, but at the same time the music is high\u00adly swin\u00adging, to move the body as well as the spi\u00adrit. This music pro\u00advi\u00addes the pro\u00adof of her sin\u00adgu\u00adlar force of emo\u00adti\u00adons and musi\u00adcal ima\u00adgi\u00adna\u00adti\u00adon. Alt\u00adhough Grossmann\u2019s music stron\u00adgly reflects her own tem\u00adpe\u00adra\u00adment, it is none\u00adthel\u00adess suf\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adent\u00adly open to allow other indi\u00advi\u00addua\u00adlists to be them\u00adsel\u00adves within it. Muri\u00adel Gross\u00admann as a saxo\u00adpho\u00adnist and com\u00adpo\u00adser is buil\u00adding a very per\u00adso\u00adnal, sub\u00adstan\u00adti\u00adal style and body of work.
