Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Rome\u00adro Pel\u00adli\u00adco \u201cChe\u00adma\u201d was born in Cuen\u00adca in May 1946. This self-taught musi\u00adci\u00adan began his musi\u00adcal care\u00ader in Madrid at the time when the Bri\u00adtish influence was intro\u00addu\u00adced into Spain. He was foun\u00adder of rock bands of the 70s, such as \u201cCere\u00adbrum\u201d (two albums) and \u201cBlue Bar\u201d with gui\u00adta\u00adrist Sal\u00adva\u00addor Dom\u00adin\u00adguez.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

He later moved to Ibi\u00adza, whe\u00adre he joi\u00adn\u00aded the group \u201cIbi\u00adza Sound\u201d, an expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adtal trio of the 70\u2019s, with which they recor\u00added an album. In later years he was invol\u00adved in various musi\u00adcal groups and pro\u00adjects, which ope\u00adned his musi\u00adcal voca\u00adbu\u00adla\u00adry to the most varied styl\u00ades.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In the 90\u2019s he was cal\u00adled to the stu\u00addi\u00ados of Paco Fern\u00e1n\u00addez, famed gui\u00adta\u00adrist who lives in San Anto\u00adnio (Ibi\u00adza), with whom he par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adted in seve\u00adral recor\u00addings, like \u201cNavi\u00adga\u00adtor\u201d from DJ<\/span> Jos\u00e9 Padil\u00adla (Caf\u00e9 del Mar) and Paco Fern\u00e1n\u00addez pro\u00adjects like \u201cAtman\u201d, \u201cSal y Sol\u201d and \u201cJen\u00adte del Sol\u201d, also tou\u00adring in Euro\u00adpe.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

After various expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces as bas\u00adsist in the jazz cir\u00adcuits of the Island, Che\u00adma deci\u00added to dedi\u00adca\u00adte time to the dou\u00adble bass and began stu\u00addies at con\u00adser\u00adva\u00adto\u00adry Can Vent\u00ado\u00adsa with the pres\u00adti\u00adgious Rai\u00admond de Andr\u00e9s.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

At the begin\u00adning of 2000 he beca\u00adme part of Joa\u00adchim K\u00fchn Ibe\u00adria Trio, and recor\u00added a live album. Che\u00adma Pel\u00adli\u00adco lives and works in Ibi\u00adza, as an acti\u00adve mem\u00adber of various groups.<\/span><\/p>\n
